Oxford Football Club

Oxford Football Incorporation is a not for profit sports club established in 2003 as a coordinator for youth players participating in the Mainland Soccer competitions based in Christchurch and North Canterbury.  Our club is totally run by volunteers (Coaches, Managers, Committee, Fundraising) and services the predominantly rural communities of Oxford, Cust, West Eyreton and View Hill.

Our players range in age from 4 upwards, playing in local Saturday sporting fixtures.

Midgets is for players aged 4 and 5 years. They play on Saturdays at Pearson Park, Oxford. This is an introduction to football where they learn basic skills. Parents are encouraged to participate and help their children.

Fun Football is for players turning 6-8 years.  Oxford joins with Waimakariri United Football club in Rangiora to participate in a skills session which is followed by a game. Sessions are played on Saturdays at 10.45am (time to be confirmed for 2019). There is no practice during the week.

Mini Football is for players turning 8-10 years. Games are played on Saturdays at 9.30am (time to be confirmed for 2019) either at home (Oxford) or Maria Andrews Park (Rangiora). There is one practice during the week.  

Senior Youth Football: This is for players turning 11 years and upwards. Teams play in the Mainland Competition and travel for games when not playing on our home field at Pearson Park, Burnett Street, Oxford. Times of games vary for each grade. 


Fees for 2019: Midgets (4-5 years) $50, Fun Football and Mini Football (turning 6-10 years) $80, Senior Youth (turning 11-19 years) $150
